I grew up in Paris, the capital of fashion. I’ve always had a taste for fashion and a sense of style. When I moved to Miami at the age of nineteen, I was propelled in the industry by working as a model for big designers and brands.
I had so much clothes so I started selling them as a hobby in 2011, back when it wasn’t cool and only Craigslist was a thing! (yes I did start with Craigslist). I immediately fell in love with the feeling of having only garments which truly brought me joy.
Later in 2015, and after moving to Los Angeles, I discovered Poshmark. Since then, I sold hundreds of items on that platform and my friends were always very surprised that everything could sell. As I love people and fabrics, I continued by helping friends “edit” their closet and sometimes sell their precious items. Having coffee in someone’s dressing room is my idea of a good time.
I’m now taking it to a higher level to share my passion about recycling what was once loved for someone else to enjoy and love again. I know sometimes it can be hard to let go of some things but how amazing it is to only keep what we cherish the most. I believe in “Less is More”. My closet is always minimal and I try to keep it clean with only the things that are staples or that I love the most.
I love the idea of people passing on their things to others and giving their clothes a second life. It is truly important nowadays to be more conscious of what we buy and how much it costs to our environment. Buying quality items which are pre-owned is one of my conscious ways to not over waste our environment’s ressources.
I’m grateful to be turning my passion into something I can call work.
